The golf course is open seven days a week during daylight hours from mid-March to mid-November. All shifts, for all positions, will vary based on the time of year.

All seasonal positions are paid hourly. Rates of pay vary based on the position and experience.

Candidate Requirements

Snack Bar and Golf Cart Attendants: Minimum of 16 years old. This is a part time position, and we work with school schedules. Retirees have also been successful in this position. Available for a minimum of 2 or 3 shifts per week.

Pro Shop Attendant and Grounds Maintenance Crew: Minimum of 18 years old. Retirees and college students have also been successful in both positions. Available for a minimum of 2 or 3 shifts per week for part time employees. Full time grounds crew is 40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

Snack Bar Attendant:
Snack bar serves food to members. Responsible for making and serving sandwiches, hot dogs, beverages, and other snacks. Keeping the snack bar stocked and clean. Cleaning of all tables, counters, utensils, and snack bar equipment. Will also be required to process purchases.

Golf Cart Attendant:
Primary responsibility is to clean and prepare carts for use by the members. Parking the carts at the end of the day clean and ready for use the next day. Other responsibilities include light cleaning around the clubhouse, removing garbage and assisting the pro shop with closing for the evening.

Pro Shop Attendant:
Within the pro shop there are two primary responsibilities. The pro shop counter and the starter.

The pro shop counter will process the fees and sales in the pro shop. Also responsible for answering the phone and assisting with booking tee times for the members. The pro shop is also responsible for communicating with the starter and the cart attendant about future needs for the day and changes to the tee sheet.

The starter will be responsible for checking in golfers and managing who is on the first tee. There will also be times when the starter communicates who is here and how to process the payment to the pro shop.

Grounds Maintenance Crew:
Equipment Operator (Part Time)
Duties and Responsibilities: Operation of equipment to maintain the golf course to the high quality expected. Typically, a four-to-five-hour morning shift. This position involves the mowing of greens or tees, or fairways ahead of the golfers. About half the crew is retirees.

Grounds Crew (Full or Part Time)
Preforms the day-to-day landscaping and maintenance of the golf course. Including operation of equipment and course setup. This includes mowing, bunker raking, weed pulling, trimmer and other golf course maintenance operation.
